projects
This kind project, spearheaded by sisters Kaitlyn and Megan Liu, seeks to bring joy to the elderly residents of their neighborhood. The siblings personally selected and delivered more than 250 roses from their own garden, pairing each bloom with a unique, hand-crafted card. Their thoughtful action not only introduced a splash of natural beauty into the lives of Diamond Bar’s senior citizens but also cultivated meaningful emotional bonds, reinforcing the seniors’ significance within their community.
projects
This project reflects Kaitlyn and Megan’s commitment to supporting local youth. In the past year, they successfully donated over 100 backpacks filled with essential school supplies to students in need. With an ambitious goal of donating over 1,000 backpacks this year, this initiative aims to ensure that every child has the necessary tools to succeed academically. The project promotes educational equity and empowers youth by alleviating the financial burden on families, allowing students to focus on their studies.
projects
Kaitlyn and Megan are working with The Diamond Bar Community Foundation to bring young and older people in the community closer together. They raised money to make it happen. Young volunteers spend time with older community members, keeping them company and helping out. They visit often and do fun activities together. This makes life better for the older adults and helps young people feel like they’re doing something meaningful and making new friends.
